The world’s largest solar power plant on a stadium was commissioned in 2005. In 2007 it was extended to 1.3 MWp.
Following a public invitation to tender, energieburo and its partner companies defied international competition and won the contract. Apart from the best value for money, the determining factors were the innovative installation system montavent™ and the handcar SolarDraisine®, which was specifically developed to service the large area of the solar power plant. This PV plant was awarded the European Solar Prize as well as the Swiss Solar Prize.
